Introducing Integral LEDs Evolutionary Evofire IP65 Fire Rated Downlights
The new Integral LED Evofire fire rated downlights feature an evolutionary (Patent Pending) canless design and no intumescent material. This fitting is designed as a safe and attractive fitting that can be used with either LED GU10 or MR16 lamps. The Evofire runs cooler than a typical can-style fire rated downlight which can extend the lifetime of your LED lamps.
Evofire downlights feature a fully open design that does not conceal the lamp in a large metal canister which usually traps the heat that is generated and can lower lamp lifetime and performance. The Evofire's evolutionary design means that the fitting runs at approximately 10°C cooler than typical can-style fire rated downlights which can extend the life of your lamps.
The fittings feature a lightweight but tough steel body and an ultra-thin blend-in steel bezel for a discreet finish. This matt white bezel is up to 10 times thinner than typical IP65 rated downlights (just 1mm thick!) and the high quality powder coated finish looks discreet and aesthetically pleasing in any setting.
Some models of the Evofire downlight feature a built-in insulation guard that allows loft insulation to be laid safely on top of the downlight without restricting airflow around the lamp. These fittings are all fire rated for use in 30, 60 and 90 minute ceilings and this was tested in a UKAS Accredited Lab. With their low-profile body, the Evofire downlights are ideal for use in shallow ceilings in both commercial and residential applications.
